Rescuing Our Furry Companions!
This is a major component of our nonprofit organization. Many of our volunteers have years of experience working with animals, and we particularly specialize in working with pets suffering from trauma, abuse, and/or neglect. Many "aggressive" dogs are actually suffering from previous trauma and feel unsafe or unconfident. We also work with stray cats and kittens to help them adjust back to life in a home. We show all of our furry friends patience, give them love, and teach them confidence. Only after undergoing much work, do we consider adopting them to families equipped to handle their special needs. We also offer post-adoption services and have a thorough adoption process. Click here to check out the pets we have available!
Currently, we are seeking Foster Families for pets to stay with as they continue to wait for their fur-ever home. If you are interested in being a stopping point for furry travelers, please complete the form on the Become a Foster Family page. !
Without our volunteers, we would not be able to help the pets find homes. If you are interested in volunteering with us, please complete the form on the Become a Volunteer page and we will contact you!
You can also find a list of donations we are seeking to help current Foster Families and take-home supplies for newly-adopted pets.
Check out our Ways to Help page for other ways to contribute, including by donating supplies and helping us with fundraisers!
We love, love, love the idea of adopting our furry friends out to loving families! All animals will be neutered or spayed, as required by state law. Microchipping will also be available, and of course, everyone will be up-to-date on their vaccinations.
